Bohlsen Restaurant Group is a family-based organization. Michael and Kurt Bohlsen, third generation restaurateurs, uphold the family tradition of mixing the essential ingredients to any successful restaurant enterprise — service, style and cuisine. By focusing on quality, we hope to inspire today’s discerning diners and generations of future diners at a Bohlsen Restaurant. We believe that you should have a great dining experience and have fun along the way. We have a strong sense of community, and we aim to enrich the lives of both those who choose to dine with us as well as our valued and loyal staff.
We currently own and operate eight of Long Island’s most well known dining establishments and we recently opened our first restaurant in Stamford, Connecticut. These include Gold Coast harbor front Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar in Huntington as well as on the Rippowam River in Stamford, CT; Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington; the vibrant H2O: Seafood & Sushi in Smithtown and our newest location East Islip; acclaimed by Newsday as #1 on Long Island in 2012, the four-star Monsoon: Steak & Sushi in Babylon Village top Zagat-rated Tellers: An American Chophouse and the chic and casual VERACE: True Italian in Islip; neighborhood pizza joint PizzaParm in Islip.
